A couple of years ago, as I was preparing for Christmas, I was making backgrounds using an ordinary rectagular kitchen scrourer sponge dipped into random pools of acrylic paint. The idea was to create multicoloured rectangular backgrounds onto which I could stamp and emboss images. As I lifted the sponge, this image of Mary cradling her baby was revealed. There was no intention, to create this and I treasure it as an image of what Christmas is about.
Christmas is a really brilliant excuse to get creative. I hope to share some christmas inspiration, stories, crafts and tutorials to help you embrace a creative christmas.

Once try use felt pens to add a star and a trunk to your tree.
Additions. You could make the star and then use glitter.
This Christmas tree hand print design can be created in the same way this image is from The other white house via Pinterest

Christmas Nativity ~ Tree Decorations
I am really proud of these decorations. Each one is individually handpainted so designs may differ slightly.
The set has 3 kings, two shepherds, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.
You can order a set via the email me button. I'll be adding them to my online store in the next few days.
A set of eight decorations hand painted with the nativity characters.
Each character has appropriate words from a christmas carol on the reverse.
The ornaments are painted with acrylics and are then coated with glitter varnish.
I am taking orders for them as I plan to make lots more. Each decoration measures approx 3.5" x 1.5".
