I have been hoarding a huge pile of plain gold baubles waiting for the inspiration to create something with them.

 I have had in my stash for 5 years a length of  fringed bullion and so the two things have come together in perfect harmony to create these Victorian inspired Christmas baubles.  They are really adictive and very fiddley to make.

 I hope they will go down well at the Christmas fayres and events I am attending.

Everyday, I log onto Spotify (free music listening site) to see what new albums they've added.  Today I have found a lovely Christmas music album called Joy to the world by Pink Martini.

I've not come accross their work before, but it is really worth listening to the ecclectic mix of latin, jazz and world music.  This is a really atmospheric album.

Not being a beer drinker myself, I am unlikely to ever create a masterpiece like this.
If you want to have a go at making one, it makes a great excuse for a party because I personally don't see how you are going to drink the 233 bottles of beer required to create the six level tree.

Christmas Chaos

Today is the first of November.  That's a real count down moment for me.  It's when blind panic sets in and I think about all the events I have signed up for. Don't get me wrong. I simply love being up to my eyes in creative chaos, but the realisation that it's nearly upon us has me wondering whether everything will get done.  It inevitably does of course.
The clocks turned back yesterday and so the evening has drawn in early and the stars are already peeping.  I feel the call of the crystals!!!
